I believe I might owe you guys an explanation... This illustration friday-submission has a nuclear approach. The nuclear power-debate in Sweden has been going on since the early seventies - and is still very interesting in my opinion. Barsebäck was one of Sweden's four nuclear power plants - this one located at the west coast outside Malmö in the very southern part of the country. The first reactor was closed November 30 1999 and the second reactor May 31 2005. Now the remains of Barsebäck, makes part of a very famous coast silhouette - an industrial end of our blossoming landscape, and also view from one of the popular beaches in the area. I guess you could call this a tribute to Barsebäck, which served its people for almost 30 years, before the Swedes decided to close it down and make it up by buying oil and gas from Eastern Europe. In their opinion; a much more safe and environmental friendly choice. Bullshit if you ask me...
